Lateral Opinion

Consider this:

• My Windows installation article:
  • Digg: 3 diggs, no comments
  • Reddit: 137 points, 345 votes, 154 comments
• A post about linux preloading:
  • Reddit: -2 points, 8 votes, no comments
  • Digg: 21 diggs, 2 comments

I expected both sites to have more or less the same audience, and if anything, digg to be larger, thus give more votes.

Anyone has even a wild guess at the divergence?
